Back from the Yukon

I was witness to an epic battle for survival: the sound of clashing antlers drowning out the sound of my terrified beating heart in my ears-

Two statues of unknown composition in downtown Whitehorse.

I've got a friend who loves football, curling, and horse racing.
So for her birthday I invented a new sport just for her:

**PHOTO IS NOT MY OWN!
                 Change is scary!

....so I just went for it and switched up my blog design, and opened an Etsy shop for the stuff I love making!
Don't feel any obligation to buy- I am learning how to add links and buttons and use different social media platforms to cross link stuff. It is all a big, mysterious blob of wonder to me, so please disregard any weirdness you may click upon in the next few months!
****I hope you feel welcome to browse the shop "just because!"
**WARNING: There may be some curse words in my shop...

*BAD PHOTO QUALITY-it was the dead of night, and those fuckers were FAST.
**HUMANS "Dumpster Dive".......RATS "Dumpster Drink".   YOU'RE repulsed? So was I.

Well, ONE rat would be repugnant enough....but there was more than a DOZEN in this downtown Vancouver alley at 1AM.

They were in some sort of junk-food induced high: squealing, screeching and criss-crossing the alley in a random mosh pit of ickiness.

I went in a few feet, but started to get that "Gulliver's Travels" feeling- and there were enough rats in there that if they were all of a mind to turn on me......well...I wasn't going to wait around long enough to find out WHAT these little fur bags of filth were capable of.
